The Baldwin Bowling Center will host the 14th Annual Bowlers Against Drugs summer program through July 24th. This program is a Drug Education program that helps to educate children on the importance of a drug-free environment. Not only will the children learn how to bowl, but they will also listen in on lectures and be able to participate in hands-on demonstrations provided by local Doctors and Law Enforcement. Midsouth Federal Credit Union Branch Manager Sheree Prestridge presented a check to Debra Robinson from the Bowlers Against Drugs in support of this important program.
Central State Hospital will host a Flower and Art Show on August 16, 2007. This exciting program will feature the handiwork of the clients at Central State Hospital in the areas of Flowers and Art. This program showcases the final results of creative therapy programs, which will focus on the artistic abilities of the individuals who participate and choose to enter the show.
